A scandal over a death of 49-years-old Lviv resident in Spain: heart and kidney were excise, while he was alive.
Autopsy of the delivered to the Ukraine body showed, that the heart and kidneys were excised by surgery. According to the Ukrainian physicians, organs were cut out, when a victim was alive. “There are no other damages of internal organs which would result in death” - was written in Ukrainian medicolegal report.
According to the wife of lost, Irene, doubts were raised by two dates of death and two different diagnosis in documents: a heart attack and a trauma at falling from scaffold.
“The doubt was strengthened by the obvious unwillingness of the Spanish authorities to return a body and suggestion to cremate him at the expense of medical institution”, - widow tells.
Owing to the persistence of relatives, the body was returned to Ukraine, where the second autopsy was held. Relatives suspect, that Vladimir had fallen a prey to trade in human organs. Lawyer Aram Chliyants also supposes, that organs were cut out for transplantation. In MFA reported that the Ukrainian embassy in collaboration with law enforcement authorities of Spain studied grounds of the issue.
