The second secretary of the Iranian embassy Djalal Sharaphi released on April, 3 in Iraq has declared that he was tortured by CIA agents.
The Iranian news agency Fars informed on Saturday, April, 7, that he was abducted in Baghdad by the Iraq special services working under the CIA control.
He was captured in one of the Baghdad’s shops by the employees of the Ministry of Defense of Iraq. Militaries had driven in automobiles with American occupational forces tags, the diplomat informed agency.
Then, as he said, he was delivered to one of the military bases near the airport, where he was interrogated in Arabian and English languages.
“CIA agents` questions concerned Iranian presence and influence in Iraq, they were interested in scales of the Iranian assistance to the government, Shiite, and to Kurdish groupings “, he told.
USA authorities reject any participation in detention of the Iranian diplomat.
The information about his discharge became known on April, 3, the day before the president of Iran has declared, that “forgives and releases”, 15 British seamen detained in Persian Gulf.
During the British seamen crisis, there were suggestions that Iranian diplomat can be exchange for the British seamen.

The eighth women in the FBI’s history and one of the most wanted was taken into custody when police went to her apartment searching for someone else and she opened the door. Shauntay L. Henderson, 24, a member of a street gang, as it was informed earlier, was wanted for the September 2006 shooting death of DeAndre M. Parker, 20, who was killed in his truck at a corner store. Henderson shot him three times in the chest with an automatic pistol.
Her detention happened before the television show “America’s Most Wanted” where it was announced about her inclusion on the FBI’s list. She was accused of a second-degree murder in connection with Parker’s death and illegal flight to avoid law prosecution.
The FBI representative said that Henderson was a member of the 12th Street Gang, a criminal gang active in south part of Kansas City. She is also a “person of interest” in five additional murders and 50 other shootings.

Saturday morning, on April, 7, in area Galskom of Abkhazia unknown persons robbed United Nations mission, informs agency News - Georgia.
According to the representative of the Abkhazian government in the Western Georgia Tornike Kilanava, malefactors have attacked the house of a local resident Indiko Kobalii where the mission was settled down.
Four persons in masks penetrated into the house and carried away the money, valuable things and mobile phones of the mission employees. As it was informed, robbers had beaten the owner of a house and his bride for the shown resistance.
Kilanava in conversation with news agency had accused the local authorities of conspiracy “with criminal elements”. Meanwhile, the United Nations Security Council will discuss next week developments in Abkhazia and in the higher part of canyon Kodorskogo, and also will consider the problem of prolongation of United Nations mission mandate in Georgia for the next half-year.

The British seamen, who spent 2 weeks in Iranian captivity, had completely denied their words in the interview to the Iranian TV.
During the press conference on the Navy base in southwest England, seven from 15 seamen told, that they had been captured outside Iranian territorial waters.
They had declared that Iranians treated them roughly from time to time. According to the former captives, Iranians held them blindfolded and with tied hands and also interrogated every night and held in one-man cells.
They explained that they had been given choice - either the seven-year jail placemen, or apologies and lie on air of the Iranian TV.
One of the main problems during an imprisonment was starvation: they were held separately from each other and went for a walk blindfolded.
British knew nothing about that was spoken about the situation with their detention in the world and had been completely cut off any information.
According to seamen, the only woman among them who was held also separately was told that all men had already been exempted.

The court of France has accused prince of Saudi Arabia of conveying to France two tons of cocaine by his personal plane.
Local mob has informed the authorities, that prince personally has supplied him with drugs.
Grandson of the Saudi monarchy founder is accused of delivery to Paris 66 suitcases filled with the Colombian cocaine on his personal Boeing 737.
French customs did not conduct a search of the plane, as prince enjoys diplomatic privilege. The accused is in Saudi Arabia and rejects any suspicions in his address. France is going to direct the claim to the Interpol for prince detention.
The investigation revealed, that prince actively participated, and probably was the organizer of the whole network trade in Columbian cocaine in France and Europe.
There are 9 more detained on the same case in France. They, together with prince, are charged with transportation, storage and sale of drugs, creation of the criminal group, smuggling in the goods forbidden for transportation.

Prime minister of Great Britain Toni Blair on Tuesday, on April, 3, has declared that the following two days “will be decisive” in the matter of 15 British military men detained by the Iranian border guards in Persian Gulf for presumable incursion into territorial waters of Iran.
This term strangely coincides with a first day of operation against Iran - according to the Russian special services, US Bite is appointed to Friday morning.
Blair has warned Iran, that if the detained seamen will not be released, London “will take strong measures”. As he said, there are two variants: the first is “try to settle the conflict peacefully “; the second -  ” more and more strict decisions “.
Blair has noted, that the offer of the secretary of the Supreme National Security council of Iran  to solve the problem through the diplomatic channels, gives hope for the rapid crisis solving. Official Teheran supports the diplomatic way of conflict settlement, as there is no need to judge the British in Iran.

United Nations news service informs that citizens of Iraq, China and Russia lead in the number of petitions about granting an asylum in industrially developed countries.
According to the data of the annual report of United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees, Iraqis lead in lists of applicants seeking refuge abroad, the second and third place are taken by citizens of China and Russia. Further come Serbia and Montenegro, and also Turkey.
The majority of refugees wish to move into the USA and France.
In 2006 22,2 thousand Iraqis applied with the request for granting a refuge in industrially developed countries, that is 77 % more, than in 2005.
The number of Russia citizens, seeking a political asylum, the last year has reached 15,7 thousand, and China - 18,3 thousand.

Authors of the report consider that such reduction is connected with more tough requirements for the persons to find refuge.

The former participant of Baader-Meinhoff group was released from prison where she has spent 24 years for participation in a series of abductions and the murders made in 1970s years.
According to the representative of the German penitentiary services, 57-years Brigitt Monhaupt went at large Sunday, on March, 25.
The last month the court in Germany has decided that Rote Armee Fraktion activist convicted for five life imprisonments for participation in nine murders can be released ahead of schedule.
Brigitt Monhaupt is one of the few activists of German Rote Armee Fraktion, who survived. Other participants of the group - Andreas Baader, Gundrus Enslin and Ulrika Meinhoff- were killed under vague circumstances at the end of 70s.
The prospect of Monhaupt discharge has caused huge debate over the German society. RAF activist was involved in a number of group actions, including explosions, abductions and murders of people (including chairman of the Supreme court of the Western Berlin and head of the Deutsche Bank).
Brigitt Monhaupt called in her time ” the most severe and dangerous woman in the Western Germany “.

The prime minister of the Great Britain Tony Blair has declared that in the case of seamen release, seized by Iran, he relies on diplomacy. But he noted, that his country will pass to “other phase” if diplomacy does not help.
“Now we try to promote the matter through the diplomatic channels and force the Iranian government to understand, that these people should be released, as for their detention there are no justifications “, said the head of the British government in the interview to GMTV. Blair has expressed the hope that they will manage to convince Iranians in necessity to release British seamen.
Blair has not explained the meaning of “other phase”, however has told once again, that he cannot bear with the situation when the citizens of the British Queen are imprisoned.
In the meantime Iranians do not disclose a place of detention, declaring only, that all they are treated well and the lady, who was among the arrested militaries, has full protection.
It was informed earlier that 15 British were arrested on March, 23 by Iranians on border with Iraq. They may be indicted for illegal border crossing and espionage.
